Didn't start out so promising, bit light but looked like it'd be fun if blogged out and rode waves coming in. Went for the 6.4m Remedy & 3S97 combo, and set for max power. Got planing okay, but was marginal so gaining ground upwind over the waves wasn't easy, and equally when riding coming back in meant losing a bit more ground downwind. Couple of runs out & back and lost 4 beaches downwind (approx 400m).

Decided to walk back upwind a bit, and as if by magic wind filled in a bit so sailed back upwind no problems. Waves were nicely spaced out and around head high but much smoother between than yesterday. Managed some big air and some nice backside rides, with 4-5 bottom turns on some waves.

Only myself out windsurfing, but Karl and 3-4 of his jet ski mates out in the surf too having a ball. Was actually quite a laff having them out there as we could have impromtu jump off comps, and I reckon I scored biggest air so happy with that. Also nice to know that if it all went pete tong, I had a lift organised !

Wasn't cold at all, no burns for fingers, so was going for more than perhaps might normally this time of year. Only packed up as wind got stronger and stronger and decided that it looked like rain was coming behind the wind front, which meant that the wind could fill in more, or die completely ... so changing down to suit the wind could still prove to be all wrong. Quite nice to have scored couple hours in the sunshine and nice waves, and be packed up before the rain came through ... and it did !!
